Typical

How dare they spoil my pointless daytime viewing. Damn the BBC for swapping Bargain Hunt for the Tennis. It’s only a Scotsman after all ;0)

Had to force myself to watch this epic struggle. Just for evidence should I wish to write in and complain, you understand.

A new Bow sight

I really should stop using eBay, but it is far to useful. As my family and Archery colleagues are aware, I am NOT a one bow man. And, in those numerous bows I have two Compound bows, one newly purchased and the other an eBay special. The eBay Hoyt was intended as a Field Bow and originally had a multi – pin sight on it. However hard I tried with this type of sight, it just didn’t seem to suit me. Anyway, Wednesday morning saw the eventual arrival (delayed thanks to UK Customs sticking another charge on top), of a sinmgle pin, adjustable sight form the US. Not an expensive item compared to the sights you buy from the big players in the market, but it seemed decent enough. I didnt realise how good though until it was fitted and ready to go.

The indoor session on Wednesday night was really meant to be practice ready for the Vegus Round on Sunday. But, with half an hour of the session to go I thought “what the hell” and got the Field Bow, and its new sight out to play with.

Impressed didn’t cover it. With just a couple of minor adjustments, the whole thing was on the money. Not just hitting the centre Golds (X’s – yeah) but also taking out the centre images of a pile of playing cards.

Must remember to give positive feedback for this sight on eBay.

Hummmm

Another hummmm thought. Am typing this message on my BlackBerry, but, on some of the web browser pages it is difficult to see and use that website. So I’m wondering – do I stay with blackberry? (and move over to the torch version) of should I take the iphone option? Is there something androidy that I could move over to? Or is it the curse of any mobile phone, that the screen is small and not that easy to use?

Thanks for nothing!

An open to message to the Drunken Fool (or fools) who think its funny to damage private property – to wit, tying knots with our windscreen wipers. If you would be so kind as to leave £100 in way of repairs and compensation it would be much appreciated. IDIOT!!!

Wow!!

This is going to sound so twee, but there you go. I knew kids could grow quickly, but puppy’s take the biscuit. When we first got him, he couldn’t see over the seat of the chair, let alone the table top. Only last week he had to use the chair, and full body stretch, to just see the table. Now, the nose has appeared above the level of the table without any effort – Oh Dear!!

Morning

Morning all, and welcome to a wet cold Friday. Not really a lot else to say. Have a safe, dry day.

Ha Ha, well there yo

Ha Ha, well there you go! Am sorting some things on the computer to hear the puppy SNORING. Didn’t even know they made that sort of noise

Woops

That didn’t help.
Come in. Book off from work and then sort of nod off.
Vain attempt to catch up by taking the dog for a walk and then type some letters and upload some photos.
Out into the cold and see youy later.

Well that’s another week over

It’s Friday the 13th, for all that’s supposed to mean – which is nothing to me. I have to be honest the early part of this week was ok. The weather was so so in places, but that’s the British weather we all love to moan about.

But the last two days, work wise, have been an absolute disaster . I would have been better staying at home and letting the puppy go to work in my place.

Never mind. This weekend is Laura’s various birthday meals and , as I type, the house is once again being used to make a pile of Cup Cakes.

I will, of course, have to make sure they are all safe to eat before anyone else is allowed to try them
